Which apps are safe for the iPhone and iPad?
Apple’s iPhone and iPod are considered safe for use by most users, but it is the iPhone’s built-in health app, iHeartRadio, that is proving to be especially dangerous for some users.
The iPhone’s health app has been criticised for not being user-friendly, especially in the case of heart disease and diabetes, but the iOS 8.0.2 update to the popular app will make it much safer for users to use the phone.
According to Apple’s latest update, the iHeartRadar Health app will now detect a device’s age, gender, height and weight.
This will help users identify if they are older than they should be and allow users to adjust the settings.
Users will be able to choose whether or not the phone should be used on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or 3G and 4G networks.
The iHeartMed app will also be made more user-friendly by removing the ability to set your phone as a ‘health reminder’ for people with heart disease.
Users of the new iPhone will also no longer be able connect to a Wi-fi network through their iPhone, with the new version of the app being able to detect and block access to devices using a Wi/Bluetooth network.
Users can choose to have their phones turned off in the Settings menu, with a new option for ‘Disable Wi-FI, Bluetooth and 3G connections’ being added.
Users also now have the option to choose to disable Wi-Fares from AppleCare+, with the option for users with diabetes or other health conditions to be able adjust the setting.
The update also introduces an option for iPhone owners to add the Apple Watch as a third-party fitness app, which will allow users with Apple Watches to automatically start a workout whenever they are out of range of a wireless network.
As a result, iPhone owners will be in a much better position to monitor and control their health, Apple’s chief medical officer, Dr Mehmet Oz, said in a blog post.
Users with the iPhone 6s, 6s Plus, and iPhone SE will be given the option of either using the ‘Health’ or ‘Health and Fitness’ apps, which can be installed on the iPhone directly or on an iOS device.
The new iPhone version of Health and Fitness will be available on November 15, according to Apple.
The company also announced a new iPhone app that will allow iOS users to access the iWatch’s built in fitness tracker.
The Apple Watch will become the only wearable device to support the Apple Health app, with an estimated one in four users using it as their primary device for health monitoring.
The Health and Sports app will allow iPhone users to log into the app and check their health and exercise logs, and can also give users a breakdown of their exercise.
Users are also able to download the Apple Fitness app to their Apple Watch, which gives them access to the app’s workout logs, as well as the Health and Exercise app.
